The Operating Room Technician prepares surgical instruments for intra-operative use, assists surgeons to carry out operative procedure with efficiency and attention to maintaining surgical asepsis. The person in this role also assembles used instruments and equipment in an organized manner and delivers to decontamination area post procedure.
Shifts Available: Evenings, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Minimum Education: Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training.
Minimum Experience: Must have at least one year experience in scrubbing major and minor cases in the acute care setting.
Required Certification/Licensure: CPR license. Surgical Technologist Certification.
