Clinical Placement Coordinator
General Duties:
- Acquire new clinical sites to support graduates. Maintain positive relationship
with existing sites.
- Obtain signed agreements and ensure all requirements have been satisfied
prior to placing a student onsite.
- Achieve the clinical-to-placement ratio as required by program, accreditation,
education, and Company policies and regulations.
- Thoroughly develop positive relationship with clinical sites in order to be aware
of future clinical site opportunities and to enhance/facilitate student placement.
- Secure all evaluations from the sites and the students to include the Clinical
Evaluation Report, Clinical Visitation Evaluation, and Student Clinical Facility
Evaluation.
Responsibilities:
- Must be a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
- 3 to 5 years experience in surgery required.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills are essential.

We currently have positions for CVOR Surgical Technicians in our Operating Room. We average 2-3 open-heart procedures per day with two dedicated open-heart rooms. These are full-time positions with variable dayshifts & rotating weekday & weekend call. Certification is required with a minimum of one-year heart experience. The CVOR Team will provide direct surgical patient care for all Cardiac Service Line cases. Opportunities to rotate into main OR and main OR call schedule available for consideration.
