Program Assessment Exam

The Program Assessment Exam (PAE) was developed for use by programs as one component of the Outcomes Based Accreditation system as established by the Accreditation Review Council on Education in Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (ARC-STSA).

The exam was developed by AST at the request of ARC-STSA (formally ARC-ST). The LXR software used to create the exam can develop several exam versions, so that each exam will be different.
