The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) recognizes the AST Continuing Education Policies for the CST and CFA and accepts continuing education credits as defined by AST policy. AST provides processing of continuing education credits for the NBSTSA

Announcing the 14th Annual AST Instructor’s Forum

February 11-12, 2011

San Antonio, Texas

AST is seeking educators to speak and share your knowledge, insights and strategies with your peers.

New format for 2011- Three tracks available: New Educator; Experienced Educator; and Clinical Educator and Preceptor.

Educators who are interested in speaking should choose an educational topic appropriate for one of these tracks. Each presentation is scheduled for 50 minutes.

Please respond no later than September 15, 2010 regarding your preferred time slot and topic title.
