Recording and Storing CE Credits

CE Credits are processed within 10 business days from the day received. Incomplete forms and/or documentation will be returned. After your credits are processed, AST will send you a CE Credit letter acknowledging the number of credits that were accepted. This is proof that your credits were processed by AST and this letter should be kept for your files. As an AST member you can also access your CE Credit information online with your login information at www.ast.org. You can view your CE Credits and submission history online as well as print your CE Credit history for confirmation for your employer.

After processing exams and payment, AST transfers the earned credits directly to the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) for certification renewal.
