Familiarize!  Program personnel should spend a few days in the new clinical location without students.  Familiarize yourself with hospital policy and procedure. • Create a “cheat sheet” for students to enter the facility.  Staff – Greet everyone you see and introduce yourself.  ASK – What preceptors and circulators would like to see from your students.
