 Consensus can’t be reached.  More assertive students tend to get most of the attention.  Less assertive students are often reluctant to speak up and give opinions.  “Groupthink” can occur. This happens when a group values harmony over the desire to come to a “right” decision.  If this happens, try the “Step Ladder Technique”.
