    The 2016 Galaxy Stars Award Winners are programs that have successfully encouraged their students to become AST members. Membership in a professional organization is an important start to any career. AST honors these programs and their commitment to their students and the profession.

    Galaxy Stars receive special recognition at AST's national conference, in June edition of The Surgical Technologist and in the ASTSA and Instructor's newsletters. 

    For complete information and to ensure that your program receives the Star recognition it deserves for next year, fill out the Galaxy Star Application and submit it to AST.

    2016 Galaxy Star Raffle Winners

    Programs who earn Galaxy Star recognition also will be placed into a drawing to win a trip to the 2016 Instructor's Workshop in San Diego or the 2017 Instructor's Forum, three nights hotel at IF/IW, coach round-trip airfare, registration for IF/IW and registration for ARC/STSA Accreditation Fundamentals for Educators (AFE).
