In order to receive CEs for a session, you must select education sessions. You will receive credit only for the sessions you are registered for. We advise you to select your sessions as early as possible.
Regardless of member type, attendees are able to attend the opening ceremony, business sessions, educational sessions, two days of exhibit hall, opening night party and the closing night reception.
Did you use your certification number and not your AST membership number? If you used your certification number, it will not recognize you as an AST member. Did you just renew/join AST? If so, you’ll need to wait 48 business hours in order to be recognized in our system. Neither of these? Chat with us via our online chat - http://www.ast.org/
If your student membership has not expired, but you are now certified, then it still recognizes you as a student. You will need to contact us so we can switch your membership type. You will then need to wait 48 business hours to register online.
All member and nonmember students are required to attend the ASTSA Student Forum on Friday, May 31. The Student Forum provides resources and information geared specifically toward students in the surgical technology profession. To get the discounted rate, you must be a surgical technology student. If you choose not to attend the ASTSA Student Forum, you must register as an AST member or nonmember and pay the respective rates. To do this, please call us to change your registration type.
Children younger than the age of 18 will not be permitted in the Exhibit Hall due to insurance reasons.
Pre-conference sessions are workshops held prior to the conference for an additional cost.
